Classes and Studies at Calvin PCA
As the early church formed in the First Century, new believers “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching” (Acts 2:42) and God made himself known to them through His Word. Our desire at Calvin PCA is to follow the model of the early church, devoting ourselves to God’s Word with joyful submission. Our goal in studying God’s Word is to know more of Him, and to equip ourselves to better serve and honor Him in all our ways. To that end we offer a variety of classes and study opportunities for all.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
Current Classes and Studies
- Psalms (Sunday Morning Sermon Series, 10:15 AM)
- Genesis (Sunday Evening Sermon Series, 6:30 PM)
- “Affirming the Apostles’ Creed” by J.I. Packer (Women’s Monday Evening Bible Study, 7:15 PM meeting this summer at various homes)
- Men’s Monday PM Bible Study (will resume in the fall)
- Ladies Wednesday AM Bible Study will resume on September 14
- Youth Group Fellowship and Bible Study (Wednesday, 7:00 PM)
- Covenant Life (Wednesday evening dinner & study – will meet in July)
- Adult Sunday School -The Church: Growing Roots for Eternity in God’s House Today (9:00 AM taught by Pastor Aaron Garber)
- Children and Youth Sunday School (9:00 AM)
- Small Group Ministry – Just Do Something by Kevin DeYoung (third Friday of the month, 7:00 PM)
